WHAT IS A SENSORY ROOM?
A Sensory room offers a therapeutic space for children and adults with autism and other additional needs. Choices of equipment can be used to improve a variety of physical and cognitive skills. Our specifically designed room, which combines a range of stimuli to help individuals develop and engage their senses. These include lights, colours, sounds and sensory soft play resources, all used within a safe environment that allows the individual using it to explore and interact without risk.
